BC Open Collection MARC records

The MARC record set for the titles in the B.C. Open Collection was created according to a standard accepted by the BCLA Cataloguing and Technical Services Interest Group (BCCATS). The cataloguing closely conforms to the Provider Neutral Record Standard (PDF). Cataloguers at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Vancouver Island University were directly involved with the creation of records below. Records are provided in RDA standard, available in MARC format (.mrc) and in eye-readable format (.mrk). Types of files available include:

• Additions - MARC records for titles newly added to the collection during the specific quarter.
• Deletions - MARC records for titles removed, withdrawn, or archived during the specific quarter.
• Updates - MARC records for existing titles that have undergone changes or revisions during the specific quarter.
• Full Set - A complete file containing all current MARC records.
